Into The Light
Street photography can be an exciting, challenging, and rewarding genre to explore. Capturing the world around us in an authentic, unposed way is something that resonates deeply with me.
I have always been fascinated by Light & Shadow and how it makes the scene more dynamic. I love to capture the visual representation of these light and shadow patterns on the street.
Into The Light is a collection of some of my street photographs with light and shadow.
In The Shadows
Pushkar Camel Fair happens every year in the month of November. It is a 10-day-long livestock trading. It is one of India's largest camel, horse and cattle fairs.
I was there in 2016 to document the festival. There were lots of opportunities for street photography. It was mid-day and the light was a bit harsh. Harsh light is very beautiful for street photography. I found this place and liked the pattern created by light & shadow. I had waited some time to get the right shot.

I found this kid with colorful balloons and I really liked the way it shines through the sunlight.

Catch The Light
I have been doing projects on Marina Beach for a long time. So, I visit Marina Beach very often in the morning and evening light. These lights are always beautiful.
During one such shoot, I wanted to capture these fishermen's activities and I also liked how the light played on the fishing net. I also love to capture gestures and decisive moments in street photography. I am really glad that this picture includes all these interesting elements.
